This week on the Woodware blog we have been looking at Easter Greetings, here is my effort, although this week I have cheated and had some help.
The stamp is Stampendous Bowl Bouquet it is a cling rubber stamp. I have stamped it with Wicked Black Dye ink, on to a background made with acrylic paint and the new Stampendous Creative Palette. That is my first cheat, Fran from Stampendous made the paper while she was with us at the trade show! the Creative Palette is a great way to make a your own backgrounds in the colourway of your choice. Most people use them with acrylic paints, but Jane Gill has been playing with Crafters inks and has achieved some wonderful results.
The flowers have then been coloured with Sakura pencil crayons and a white Gelly Roll pen to make the daisies pop. This is another cheat as it has been coloured by Judith the boss of Woodware, we don’t often let her do any crafting.
The wording is a Woodware Just Words stamp. The Easter Greetings stamp comes with two stamps, you get Happy Easter words too. I have punched some of the palette paper with an Oval Punch and then layered on a larger scalloped oval.
Why not pop over to the Woodware Blog to see what the rest of the team have been up to this week.
