Woodware – Chosen By Debs – Inspired by Nature

This weeks theme over on the Woodware blog has been chosen, by design team member Crafty Debs our award winning gardener, and crafter.

For my post I have done a scrapbook page

The photographs were taken on Christmas Day 2014, it was a glorious day at the beach.

I used the Dreamweaver stencil Large Scales for the background, this stencil is really easy to move around to cover the whole page.

I have used two colours of ink the Ann Butler Desert Sand Crafter’s ink and the Stormy Seas Pigment ink both from ColorBox.

I used the Dreamweaver Nested Ornament dies to cut the baubles. I stamped them with Stampendous Perfectly Clear Retro Alphabet. I embossed the edges with a Frantage mix.

this bauble has a frame that I Frantaged.

I stamped By the Sea a Stampendous cling stamp and embossed it with Aged Copper powder.

Walking by the sea always fills me with awe, the power of the water to move things around from day to day, I love the sky and although you have to walk in one direction and then turn around, you can see from the photographs that the view is different in each direction.

Thanks for visiting see you soon!
