I am back again with another touch of sunshine, and we have had more sun this week than we have had all summer, but still plenty of rain.
For today’s card I have made a folded flower that I found on Creative Hobby Supplies blog so thank you to the girls there for the idea.
First punch out 8 circles and 1 smaller one for using at the end.
I have used photocopy paper and coloured one side with Dylusions paint, I left it to dry, and then
folded up the flower petals.
I have done the folds on a patterned paper to illusrtrate the folds.
Fold in half, and unfold
fold againin the opposite direction
fold in the corners
then fold in again
to give you a petal
then mount them on the punched shape, I have used Crafty Glue
place on 4 petals
then add the other four petals on top.
To mount the flower on I used white card and the square corner punch
then I have added craft string around the card
I love this way to egde the card.
the ends just meet, and you do not have ay waste.
I have used the gold Elegance Birthday die cut tags and edged it with ink from the Balloons pigment ink pad.
I love the print on it.
I finished off the flower with a button and some yellow glitter.
Thanks for visiting pop over to see what the rest of the team have been up too on the Woodware Blog.
