This is a very simple card that I enjoyed doing very much. I like the dog very much it is from an Artemio Clear Set called Friends. The image was stamped with and then water coloured with Tombow Pens and a blender pen. I then used a super duper square punch to cut him out and then used a huge square punch to cut the dark brown layer.
The dog was very easy to water colour and I only used three colours of pen but the blender pen makes it look like so many more colours have been used.
The ribbon along the bottom is self adhesive felt which I have also cut and used as a single leaf. I hope that you have enjoyed seeing this card, if you want to see more cards for men then pop over to the Woodware Blog. Thank you for visiting.
This is my first card for the Woodware Challenge I hope that you like it! The card is made from an Artemio template that I really like as it is very versatile. I got a bit carried away with all the things on this card and it took rather a long time to make.
This is the inside of the card.
The template makes a cover and the inside pages.
You can see how it folds together to make the card. The stamps that I have used are Artemio Fun Wedding set and they were all stamped with versamark and embossed with gold powder. The gilding on the edges of the pages was done by running double sided tape around the outside and then covered with Gold Metal Leaf. The hearts are Mini and Large. On the front I have used a stencil and paste then covered the paste with PearlEx. The paste is acrylic and and the Mini punch made some really cute hearts from the extra bits that I cut off.
I coloured the ribbon with a Tombow pen a great way to get the colour that you want and since there is almost 100 Tombow pens you have lots of choice.
This is the main picture which is in the middle in the inside.
Hop on over to the Woodware Craft Collection Blog and see what the rest of the girls have been up to this week. If you have a wedding card you like please add it to our blog.
This is a 12inch x 6 inch card the edge was made with the crafty edger. The peel offs I have used are Francoise’s For the out line portion of the sticker I used black card. The black card has been water coloured with the Sakura metallic gel pens, I love the mixture of water colour and shimmer. With the help of Magi-film I used up the rest of the peel off.
