Cornhill Community Centre Workshops

This is a card that we made in a Zoom workshop on Wednesday 4th November 2020.
The card is A4 folded in half the die on the front is part of a Lisa Horton set Happy Christmas I like a plain front to a card when I have something interesting going on inside.
Take the back off the tape but just one side.
Line up the first side with the outside of the card.
Fold the inside of the card, take the backing off the strips of tape and carefully fold the card closed.
Glitter on double sided tape adds the touch of sparkle that Christmas always needs!
We made this card and 2 others last week during our Zoom class check out the Cornhill Community Centre Facebook Page if you are local to Aberdeen and would like to join us.
This is the set of cards that we made.
Thanks for visiting hope to see you soon.
I decided on this class partly to use up scraps and partly because I think it is nice to have some decorations for festivals throughout the year.
We will be hand sewing some eggs, nice relaxing project, and they are made from scraps of fabric, always nice to use up bits.
We should get two eggs made on the evening, but you will go home with enough materials to make another four and a pattern for more.
The workshop will take place upstairs Kilau (Old Aberdeen).
Free parking is available outside after 4pm
Coffee Machine will be on and food will be available.
Wednesday 18th March 2020 – 2 hours from 6.30pm – 8.30pm (If you want to order something to eat coffee shop open until 7pm)

Just in time for a last minute Valentine card what about this black and white lace, nice change from red.
This card was made as a sample for my test workshop last month. The stamps sets are from Woodware (ADS108 and ADS515).
I used this sketch as a starting point
The card is A4 folded in half so a nice big card.
I cut a black panel and then rounded the corners.
For the second panel I stamped the lace background stamps twice, if you look closely you can see the join.
But the join is hidden by the top panel. For the greeting I used the same ink but it was a second print from the stamp so it is grey, I like the tone on tone effect that it gives.
Here are the stamps

ADS515
