Woodware – Falling Leaves

The leaves in the park and garden are starting to turn and it is chilly in the morning and evenings so this week on Woodware Witterings we are thinking about falling leaves.

I have used the House-Mouse Cupcake Jump

but I only inked the mouse. I have used Crafter’s Bark ink

I have die cut leaves with the Stampendous die.

and then Frantaged, with a mixture of powders and mica.

then I added the leaves with a mixture of doublesided tape and foam pads.

some of the leaves went over the edges.

I love the texture that the Frantage gives. I heated the embossing in some places after I had attached them to the card as I had cracked some of the embossing.

Then I trimmed the leaves to the edge of the card.

I hope that you like my falling leaves, remember to check what the rest of the girls are up to on Woodware Witterings this week.

  2. Post your creation online. You can post it anywhere that will give it a unique URL (internet address). Most folks have a blog, but you can post on Flickr, or PhotoBucket, or even on your Google+ account. (ps…creating a blog is free! What are you waiting for?)

Woodware – House-Mouse® Week

This week on the Woodware Blog we are looking at the cute and cuddly House-Mouse®

This little fella is Fall Float. I have coloured the leaves green, since it is supposed to be summer at the moment.

on the front I have stamped just the leaf part of the stamp.

I did the colouring with Tombow Dual Brush Pens.

I stamped more on another sheet of the Woodware Mixed Media card.

For the inside I have used the Stampendous Build a Pop Up Die. The border comes from the same die set.

The cut out leaves have been added to the tabs at the top.

I really love the pop up die it is my favourite thing at the moment! Stampendous have an ever growing range of stamps that have been designed to work perfectly with it, but it works so well with lots of other stamps too.

Thanks for visiting, and don’t forget to check out the Woodware Blog for lots more House-Mouse® fun.

Woodware Challenge – Circles

Over on the Woodware Blog this week we have circles and I have some pesky fells helping out.

I have used the House-Mouse Chin Up Cling rubber stamp. i have just used the centre of this large House-Mouse stamp.

I have water coloured with Tombow pens and my Tombow blender pen. The blender pen works better that just a water brush on some card. I also like it when I am mixing colours to get shading.

I have edged just part of the circles with Frantage powder. To add extra circle I have added the circle from  Jane’s Bubble Wreath Clear Magic set.

I have used Jane Gill’s Doodle Christmas stamp embossed in gold to hang my bauble mice from, with red bakers twine. I added a tiny bit of colour with my Sakura pens to highlight the happy.

The card is 8 x 8 which is a nice impressive size.

Why not pop over to the Woodware blog to see a round up of the cards the girls have created this week?
