Woodware Challenge A Touch of Pink

I really must start to work faster I really don’t think this is a very complicated card and I have taken ages to do it. I am very pleased with it and it worked out as I expected.

I have done a double easel card with 2 sheets of Magenta paper A Little Bird Told Me and some card.

The paper has 3 flowers in one corner and the bird in the other.

This is a sheet of 12 x 12 card front the Be Unique packs, score and fold the base card like this.

Cut a 6 x 6 panel in plain card and then the section of the paper with the bird on, cut a second bird from another sheet of paper and mount using foam 3d pads. the hearts were cut from the paper and coloured with Sakura pen.

The second panel is done with the flower section of the paper with another three cut out and mounted with 3d foam pads.

The centre section is stamped with a heart from Jane’s Clear Magic Set Now and for Ever and coloured with Sakura pens.

I hope that you like my card to see what the rest of the team have been up to pop over to the Woodware Blog. Thank you for popping in.

Woodware Challenge Cards for Men

This is a very simple card that I enjoyed doing very much. I like the dog very much it is from an Artemio Clear Set called Friends. The image was stamped with and then water coloured with Tombow Pens and a blender pen.  I then used a super duper square punch to cut him out and then used a huge square punch to cut the dark brown layer.

cardsForMen1The dog was very easy to water colour and I only used three colours of pen but the blender pen makes it look like so many more colours have been used.

cardsForMen4The happy birthday is a double sided sticky shape.  I have used Cinnamon Flock on it.

The ribbon along the bottom is self adhesive felt which I have also cut and used as a single leaf.  I hope that you have enjoyed seeing this card, if you want to see more cards for men then pop over to the  Woodware Blog. Thank you for visiting.cardsForMen3

Woodware Wedding Challenge Day 6

This is my first card for the Woodware Challenge  I hope that you like it! The card is made from an Artemio template that I really like as it is very versatile. I got a bit carried away with all the things on this card and it took rather a long time to make.

This is the inside of the card.

The template makes a cover and the inside pages.

You can see how it folds together to make the card. The stamps that I have used are Artemio Fun Wedding set and they were all stamped with versamark and embossed with gold powder. The gilding on the edges of the pages was done by running double sided tape around the outside and then covered with Gold Metal Leaf. The hearts are Mini and Large. On the front I have used a stencil and paste then covered the paste with PearlEx. The paste is acrylic and and the Mini punch made some really cute hearts from the extra bits that I cut off.

I coloured the ribbon with a Tombow pen a great way to get the colour that you want and since there is almost 100 Tombow pens you have lots of choice.

This is the main picture which is in the middle in the inside.

The End
