On the Woodware blog this week we are looking at Zentangle with Dreamweaver Stencils
I have used the Dreamweaver
Small Oval Open Bauble.
I have used a half sheet of
magnet under my card to hold the stencil in place and drawn around the bauble.
Then move the stencil along and draw another bauble, of course you miss the showing area of the first bauble.
I have used a
Sakura Micron pen to draw around the stencil.
I have used one of my favourite Zentangle books
Zenspiration Dangle Designs by Joanna Fink to help me create the patterns.
I have simply wrapped some ribbon around a piece of black card and attached it to the card.
I am happy with the simple black and white card
Thanks for visiting, don’t forget to take a look at what the rest of the girls are up to on the
Here we are up to Sketch 30, where does time go?
Here is the sketch and this is my take on it
dog stamp is one of Francoise’s Huge Words, the stamp comes with some words and the paws and dogs head.
For the background card I stamped and embossed the dog stamp in
bark powder. The paw stamp has just been stamped with Bark Crafter’s ink.
I stamped and embossed dog on brown card and the craft card then trimmed the craft card to fit the sketch. I used double sided tape to attach the two pieces of card and the I Zentangled the word with the new
Sepia Micron pen.
thank you is a Just Words Tiddler, which comes with two thanks stamps. I have added Tombow pens o give the pup a touch of colour.
All of the layers were edged with the
Bark Crafter’s ink and I added gold 3mm metals to the corners.
Thank you for visiting today, you can see all on the rest of the team’s take on the sketch over on the
This week over on the Woodware Blog the theme is Coffee and Cream. When I set the themes I like to leave them loose to see what the team comes up with, they never let me down, even if I do wonder why/how they come up with the connections but that is part of the fun!
I have used the
Dreamweaver Jumbo Happy Birthday stencil and Zentangled it.
First draw around the stencil I have done it on the
water colour pad with the NEW Sepia Sakura Micron pen. I have placed a half sheet of the Woodware A4 magnetic sheet underneath the paper. This holds the stencil in place with out having to tape.
Remove the stencil and start to doodle
very relaxing and I can do it sitting by the fire so great for winter nights.
the owls are all from Francoise’s Clear Magic set
Owl Greeting. I have coloured them with a mixture of Tombow Dual Brush pens and Sakura Metallic Copper. I used the Tombow Blender pen to blend the both pens.
To finish off I wrapped two shades of
Craft String around the water colour card and then mounted it on a folded A4 piece of Chocolate Recycled card.
this Sakura video is a really good watch if you want to give Zentangle a try or are looking for some new ideas.
Thank you for visiting, we have some wonderful cards on the
Woodware blog this week if you like Coffee and Cream.
